jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung brought in one of Borneo FC Samarinda’s players, Adam Alis, to strengthen their midfield in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 competition.

Interim Sporting Director of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Adhitia Putra Herawan said Adam Alis was brought in on loan for six months until December 2024 with a permanent contract option for the next 2.5 seasons.

“The recruitment of Adam Alis was on the recommendation of coach Bojan Hodak who needed strength in the midfield. Persib will enter the new season with the status of defending champion,” said Adhit, Friday (19/7/2024).

The 30-year-old midfielder has become an almost irreplaceable player in Borneo FC Samarinda’s midfield throughout the 2023/2024 Liga 1 competition.

Adam Alis appeared in 37 of the 38 matches played by the team nicknamed Pesut Etam up to the championship series phase, contributing three goals and four assists.

Before joining Borneo FC in 2022, Adam Alis, who started his career in the Bahrain League, strengthened Arema FC (2017), Sriwijaya FC (2018), and Bhayangkara FC (2018-2022).

The arrival of Adam Alis is also a new recruit for Persib in the player transfer market this season.

Previously, Hodak had brought in Dimas Drajad, Mateo Kocijan, and Gustavo Franca.
