Nine companies associated with Think Plastic Brazil attended the event, which promoted lectures and business rounds, creating opportunities for training and networking. The participating companies that are part of the portfolio were: Alfamec/Floridis, Dello, Evo, Látex São Roque, Maxeb, Maxcril, Polibras, Schwanke, and Usual Brinquedos.

The opening of the Argentine Mission featured welcoming words from the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires, with the presence of Counselor Leonardo Valverde. Daniela Ornelas, a Market Development specialist from Think Plastic Brazil, represented the portfolio at the event, participating in lectures and strategic meetings.

For Carlos Moreira, Executive Director of INP and of projects at Think Plastic Brazil, the Argentine Mission represents the strengthening of the internationalization of Brazilian industries in Latin America. “This Mission stood out for the connections made at the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires, for the deals closed, and for the information shared during the exclusive lectures,” says Moreira.

Roger Planas Buil, Export and Import Manager at Dello, considered the Argentine Mission to be very productive with high quality in the selection of clients. In his case, the meetings took place with strong players in the stationery sector in Argentina.

The results achieved with the participation of the portfolio in the Argentine Mission totaled 75 new contacts, 85 meetings, $253,500 in closed deals at the event, and an additional $1,878,500 in expected business for the next 12 months.
