Additional District Collector and District Project Director M. Pratap inspects the rainwater harvesting system installed at the Tella Panchayat Union office premises.

Additional District Collector and District Planning Director M. Pratap warned that stern action would be taken if the development work in Thiruvannamalai District, Vandavasi and Tella Panchayat Unions was not completed in time.

He also spoke at the Panchayat Activities Review Meetings held on Friday at the offices of the Vandavasi, Tella Panchayat Union:

The development work under the schemes including the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and the Green Housing Scheme should be completed in a timely manner. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action being taken against the concerned Panchayat Activists, Engineering Division and Union officials.

The meeting was attended by Tella Union Committee Chairman E. Kamalachchi Ilangovan, Regional Development Officers N. Rajanbabu, A. Kuppusamy, S. V. Moothy and Sreedharan.
