All non-food trade is closed, with the exception of pharmacies and the sale of essential goods, cafes and restaurants will be able to operate only in the delivery and take-away mode, the press service of Smolny reports.

Also, beauty salons, hairdressing salons, SPA should be closed for one week, only washing zones will be able to work in the baths. Veterinary clinics will provide only emergency assistance. Pools, water parks, fitness centers are closing.

All receptions in the authorities are canceled, the MFC and the registry office will only issue documents on birth and death, as well as register marriages.

Libraries will also be closed. Theaters and museums will be able to continue to work in the COVID-free mode: all visitors must present documents on vaccination, previous illness, or medical treatment.

It is worth noting that the introduction of tough measures began to be discussed in St. Petersburg against the background of the continued growth of the incidence. More than three thousand new cases of coronavirus are recorded in the city every day. At the same time, due to the non-working week, the city authorities are afraid of an influx of tourists.
