New Delhi: As part of the ongoing crackdown on the Kovid variant of the Omikron scare, stricter conditions will be imposed on those coming to India from abroad from today. Following the decline in Kovid cases, it is moving back to controls as it prepares to undo international flights.

The restrictions are as follows.

  • Foreigners coming to India (from all countries)
  • The affidavit must be submitted on the Air Facility Portal before departure.
  • Children under the age of 5 do not need a Kovid test.
  • Travel is allowed only for those who do not have Kovid symptoms.
  • You need to download and register for the Arogyasethu application.

The conditions for those coming from risk category countries are as follows ..

  • If the result of the Kovid test before the trip is negative, you can travel.
  • After arrival in India, the Kovid check should continue at the airport until the results are available. (Continuing flight will be allowed only after the result of the connecting flight) ∙
  • If it is negative, you have to stay in the quarantine for 7 days at the place of arrival.
  • Re-examination on the 8th day. Self-monitoring should continue for another 7 days, even if it is negative.
  • Treatment with isolation if positive. The sample will be left for genetic testing.
  • People from non-risk countries, including the Gulf region
  • If the result of the Kovid test before the trip is negative, you can travel.
  • Travel is allowed only without Kovid symptoms.
  • About 5% of passengers arriving on each flight have a Kovid check.
  • Permission to go for those who test negative and those who do not test. Self-monitoring is required for 14 days.
  • Treatment in severe isolation if positive. The sample will be left for genetic testing.
