A strike by controllers will force the SNCF to cancel 60% of its TGV and Intercités from Friday to Sunday, a gradual resumption being planned for Monday, the company announced on Wednesday.

For the TGV Nord, SNCF Voyageurs plans one in two trains. In the East and in the South-East, traffic will be one in three trains. In the Atlantic, traffic will be the most impacted with one in four trains. Same frequency for the low-cost TGV Ouigo, with one train in four on the rails.
No train will run to make the France-Spain link. One in three trains will connect France to Italy and Switzerland. For Germany, one out of two trains will run on the rails. As for the Eurostar and the Thalys, the SNCF plans traffic “normal».
If you wish to take an Intercités TGV, one out of two trains will run during the day while no night train will be in operation.
Regardless of the ticket booked, customers impacted by this strike will receive a full refund of the ticket price ora free exchange on all trains where there is space until Thursday 8 December inclusive“, underlines the SNCF in its press release.
