Striking increase in colon cancer diagnoses among young people: “Wasn’t that a disease of people over fifty?”

While the number of colon cancer diagnoses is falling in the over-50s, a striking increase is reported in young people. “My GP thought it was postnatal fatigue. It turned out to be colon cancer,” testifies Annelies Timmerman (34).
