Live streaming of the ninth edition of the ESMO annual congress, held in Madrid
A congress that is close to reaching, and perhaps exceeding, 30 thousand participants including oncologists, industry experts, representatives of pharma companies and journalists. When it comes to cancer, it is the most important event in Europe and the second in the world after the American ASCO.
We talked about the main innovations in research for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, but also about stories. Stories of Italian people, doctors and researchers, who have dedicated their lives to science in hospitals and universities. And who honor our country every day. Because one thing that we must never tire of remembering is that the level of Italian scientific research is high and this is officially recognized by the international community. And many of the studies conducted in our country or by our doctors and scientists have changed the way we treat tumors not only within national borders but also abroad.
