Paramathivelur private Kandasamy Counter Arts and Science self-financed college where a female lecturer married a student for love has created a stir in the area.
Annadurai’s daughter Meena (28) who hails from Nansey Idyar near Paramathivellur in Namakkal district, is working as a lecturer in the English Department at Paramathi Vellore Private Kandasamy Counter Arts Science Self-Funding College. Meena, who has been working in the college for more than four years, fell in love with a student named Praveen (24), son of Ramesh from Nallakumaran Palayam near Velagaundampatti, who was also studying in the same college.
When the college management came to know about this, they sent a warning to both of them and the parents protested at their home. In this situation, on the 8th, both of them went to Tiruvannamalai in the morning and got married. Later, both of them took refuge in the Velakaundampatti police station yesterday seeking protection for themselves.
