Thoothukudi: Mahendran, 42, an employee of a matchbox factory, was arrested in the POCSO case for impregnating an 11th class student.
Mahendran 42. Worker of matchbox factory, Keezhapandavar Mangalam, near Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi district. Married with a wife and 4 children. He raped an 11th class student from the same area. The student was 6 months pregnant and became ill. Police arrested Mahendran under the POCSO Act.
