(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 28 – A young first-year student at the Guardia di Finanza School of Inspectors and Superintendents reported being the victim of sexual violence inside the Fiamme Gialle facility in Coppito, Abruzzo. According to what was revealed by Corriere della Sera, the alleged perpetrators of the crime were also framed by a chat created on WhatsApp in which a captain discussed with other peers what had happened. The General Command of the Guardia di Finanza has started its own investigations, ordering the transfer of both the captain, indicated by the victim as the perpetrator of the violence, and the other soldiers who had learned of the incidents. The girl could now be heard again by those investigating at the L’Aquila prosecutor’s office, and perhaps also by the military prosecutor’s office. For the moment, the lawyers defending the captain under investigation, Cesare Placanica and Maria Leone, prefer not to comment “remaining confident in the outcome of the investigation”.
