The death of a class 10 student in Tiruvannamalai due to acne problem has caused a great tragedy.

Sevathan-Chellammal couple hail from Nammayampatu area near Polurai in Tiruvannamalai district. They belong to the tribe and have 5 children namely Sudha, Ashok, Ajith, Sivakasi, Suhasini. In this, the third child, Sivakasi, was studying in class 10 at Arasevel Government Higher Secondary School under Jamuna Marathur Union there. He studied in a government hostel.

In this case, on the 28th, the school teacher Mahalakshmi spoke to Sivakasi’s father Sevathan over the phone. At that time, Sivakasi’s face was swollen and he said to take him to the hospital immediately. Following this, Sevathan took his son Sivakasi to Nambiantal Hospital.

Subsequently, the student’s parents told the Jamunamarathur police station, “The reason for their son’s death was that the teacher used an acne needle to clean it. So action should be taken against him. The police have registered a case and are investigating.

When I asked the teacher about this, she said, “The student has a fever on his face. I have wiped. Then I sent him with his parents as his face was swollen. Politicians don’t like me because I point out the tragedies happening in Jawvadu Hill. So they are blaming me with the intention of taking revenge on me.

The police are investigating the matter and the investigation is being conducted based on the complaint filed by the student’s father. It is noteworthy that this teacher has received many awards from the government for doing great reforms in Mahalakshmi Hill School.
