Riyadh: A student was injured during a fight between students in a classroom in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. The Education Department of Jizan has started an investigation into the incident.
Jizan Education Department spokesman Raja Al Attas said the incident occurred at a public secondary school for boys on Tuesday. There was a conflict between the students in the classroom in the presence of the class teacher. The altercation between the students resulted in beatings.
The footage captured by another student went viral on social media. The student, who was injured during the beating and fell down, was rushed to the hospital. After the necessary medical tests, the student left the hospital the same day.
The Director General of Education in Jizan region has ordered the immediate formation of a committee to start an investigation into the incident. He added that such things should not be repeated in the future.

Meanwhile, a native was arrested in Saudi after the video circulated on social media. The person who tried to burn the vehicles parked in front of the house was arrested. Riyadh police arrested him for trying to burn three vehicles.
A video of him trying to burn vehicles was circulated on social media. The police arrested him after the video went viral. In the video, a man covering his face with a plastic bag got out of the car, poured something flammable around the cars parked in front of a house, and after setting it on fire, escaped in his own car.

But the fire did not spread to the cars. During the subsequent interrogation, the youth confessed to the crime. He said that he did this because of a dispute with his family member. He was handed over to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.
