Students from 24 universities flock to Asbury and revival spreads

by time news

New reports continue to arrive of the prayer meeting being held in the auditorium of Asbury University, in Wilmore, Kentucky, in the United States, where Christians from various parts have been reporting a spiritual “revival” taking place there.

Now, the move that has been in uninterrupted activity since last Wednesday (8) seems to be spreading to other educational institutions, according to information from Christian broadcaster CBN News.

Professor Thane Hutcherson Ury, of Asbury, said students from at least 24 universities took buses to go to the initial location where the apparent revival is taking place.

In addition, the University of Lee, located in Cleveland, Tennessee, also began to register the beginning of a prayer movement on its campus, which also lasts several hours without interruption, according to Pastor Rob Fultz.

“What is happening in Asbury is not and will not remain confined. It will be, and already is, stirring up the deep wells of revival on campuses across the country,” said the pastor.

According to the religious leader, the students “are on the move, pressing against the seals that kept them hidden and are about to burst with new life.”

Of Lee University, the pastor reported, “A mighty movement of God started this morning in Lee and built throughout the day. We are approaching the tenth hour, nothing but voices in prayer, worship and repentance.”

new auditoriums

At Asbury University, the prayer movement was started spontaneously by students after a sermon ended. According to CBN News, two more auditoriums began to be used due to the number of people going to the place.

As reported by GospelMais, religious leaders, residents and students’ parents are also heading to the place where the revival is taking place, and everything has been done in a simple way, without great liturgical attractions, but only with prayers, praises, biblical reading and statements of regret.

“Update: 12 hours, still growing, still loving, still regretting. Isaiah 64 – rend the heavens, O Lord, and come down!!!” posted Pastor Fultz while updating the revival taking place at Lee University.

“Renaissance is spreading across America. Words cannot express the emotion I feel right now. It’s incredible!!!”, published a Twitter user when describing what he saw there. Watch some records of the mover in the new institution:
