Your future is on you again! named program by UNICEF Hungary. In the program, young people could once again submit their applications on the topics of mental health, education, participation and environmental protection. Before the applications were submitted, creative problem-solving sessions were organized for 225 students in ten educational institutions to jointly explore the difficulties that are present in their immediate environment. It is clear from the submitted projects that the participating young people are currently most interested in the topic of mental health. After the evaluation of the 20 projects received, the 10 selected teams can start developing solutions at the end of October with continuous expert support.
UNICEF also announced that this year, ten vocational training institutions and technical schools operating in settlements that had not previously participated in the initiative applied for the program, so the Budapest III. and XIV. Young people studying in vocational schools operating in the district of Cegléd, Tokaj, Sátoraljaújhely, Szeged, Komló and Selly were able to apply with their ideas related to the four categories.
UNICEF Hungary’s express goal is to deliver the program to all counties of the country.
