/ The administrative body of Al-Talaba Sports Club announced, on Sunday, its adherence to the services of the club’s football team coach, Ahmed Salah, and its rejection of the resignation he submitted after the team’s loss to Naft Al-Basra in the Iraqi Premier League.
In a statement received by Agency, the head of the administrative body, Salah Al-Fatlawi, confirmed that a long meeting took place with the coach, Ahmed Salah, immediately after the end of the match to discuss the reasons for announcing the resignation and to identify the most important obstacles facing the team in order to develop effective solutions and avoid them in the coming days in order to correct the course and return the team strongly to achieve positive results.
He explained that the club’s management completely refuses to let Salah’s services go and supports him with all its strength to lead Al-Talaba football in the next stage, especially since it has put in its calculations a long-term plan of up to five seasons to restore the elegant to its former glory, with coach Ahmed Salah being one of the most important pillars of this well-studied plan.
Al-Fatlawi stressed that the administration has full confidence in coach Ahmed Salah and grants him full authority to take any decision he deems will contribute to returning the team to the path of victories this season and the coming seasons.
Al-Talaba Club coach, Ahmed Salah, announced yesterday, Saturday, his resignation from coaching the elegant team after his team, Al-Talaba, lost to Naft Al-Basra, 3-2, in the thirteenth round of the Iraqi Premier League.
Al-Talaba is ranked ninth with 17 points after playing yesterday’s match in the ninth round of the Iraqi Premier League.
