STVV Coach Calls for Reinforcements After Big Win
Following STVV’s convincing 6-1 victory over Antrim, new coach Trudonnaire expressed concern despite the positive result. Despite the win, the coach believes the team lacks the necessary quality to compete with other teams.
“Antwerp has more quality than us and they manage to take advantage of their chances. That’s not our situation,” the coach stated. “It’s difficult and as a coach I take responsibility for that.”
Despite his positive assessment of the players’ performance, Trudonnaire emphasized the need for reinforcements. He had previously expressed this desire to the board.
“I’m happy with the way the guys played, our goal gave us a psychological boost. But this heart must have more quality,” he said. ”I was clear about this from the beginning, I told the board my desire to strengthen the team that I trust.”
Whether his repeated requests for reinforcements through the press will be effective remains to be seen.
