Actress Soo-hyun (real name Kim Soo-hyun, 39) divorced five years after marrying businessman Cha Min-geun (American name Matthew Shampine, 42), CEO of DN Korea.
On the 23rd, Soohyun’s agency, YG Entertainment, told Donga.com, “After careful discussion, Soohyun decided to end her marriage.” They continued, “The two have decided to go their separate ways, but they support each other. As this decision was made after much thought and sufficient conversation, we ask that you refrain from malicious comments and speculative reports.”
Su-hyeon announced her relationship with CEO Cha in August 2019. At the time, CEO Cha was the Korean representative for WeWork, a shared office service company, which attracted a lot of attention.
