Subramanian Swamy meets Mamata Banerjee in Delhi- Dinamani

Subramanian Swamy, a senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament, met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Delhi.

He later told reporters that he had already signaled that he was on Mamta’s side.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a three-day visit to Delhi, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening (Nov. 24).

The meeting is expected to discuss issues including the GST arrears owed by the central government to West Bengal, the Tripura riots and the empowerment of border guards.

In this context, Subramaniam Swamy met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in person. The Governor and Chief Secretary of West Bengal were present during the meeting. He met Mamta in person at her house in Delhi and then stood in a group and took a photo.

He later spoke to reporters about the meeting. Was this meeting a prelude to the press joining the Trinamool Congress? That raised the question.

Subramania Swamy replied, “I am already with Mamta.”
