Sandeep, who once earned Rs 9 thousand a month, is today handling a business with a turnover of crores of rupees. He is the founder and CEO of Pizza Galleria. They have many outlets across the country.
Starting a pizza business was not so easy for him. He had no experience about this business. For this reason, he first took training and then started the business. His mother and brother helped a lot in this work. He opened the first outlet in Gohana (Haryana). Before opening the outlet, he served pizza to many people as a trial. This led to good marketing of their brand.
Success Story: Earning Rs 1.5 crore by selling coarse grain products, this engineer from Patna established the flag in the business.
First Pizza Experience
Sandeep is a resident of Gohana, Haryana. After completing school, he took admission in B.Tech in a college near Gohana. However he could not complete his degree. He had failed in many papers. Four years later, he lied at home that he had passed and was looking for a job. He got a job in Gurugram with the help of his school friend Ishaan Chugh. At that time his salary was Rs 9200 per month. During this time, he ate pizza for the first time with friends in the year 2014. He liked it very much.
This is how it started
He was not interested in his job. The salary was also less. In such a situation he returned home. After coming home, he told everyone the truth. Initially there was scolding from the father, but later everything became fine. Sandeep thought about business. After much thought and advice from others, he decided to start a pizza outlet. He thought of starting it from Gohana itself because there was no pizza outlet there.
Steps taken after taking training
Sandeep didn’t know anything about pizza. In such a situation, he first thought of taking training for it. He came to know that training for this is given in Rohtak. He reached there. The person from Rohtak agreed to give training for Rs 1.5 lakh. He also asked for help in opening the outlet. Sandeep’s mother gave him her savings for training. After training, he opened his first outlet in Gohana in 2015. For this outlet, Sandeep’s brother gave Rs 3.5 lakh to Sandeep from his savings. In the year 2017, Sandeep also took his friend Ishaan Chugh into his business.
turnover worth crores of rupees
Today Pizza Galleria has more than 80 outlets. More than 20 thousand pizzas are sold daily from these outlets. Pizza Galleria offers pizza, pasta, garlic bread, sandwiches, fries, burgers, soft drinks etc. Their pizza prices start from Rs 69 and combo prices start from Rs 89. Sandeep is also providing employment to hundreds of people through his business.
Sandeep and Ishaan also got a chance to appear in Season 3 of Shark Tank India. However he did not receive any funding. Their turnover in the last financial year 2023-24 was Rs 15 crore. He expects the turnover to reach Rs 16 crore this year.
