Last weekend, for two days, visitors to the third wine fair were particularly numerous. Organized by the Friends of the Foyer Jean XXIII de Doische and the Friends of the Gimnée Chapel, it was an extraordinary success. On this occasion, an independent winegrower and ten appellations from France were present. Many lovers of good wine have met at the Foyer Jean XXIII to taste and choose the best wines of France. Each visitor received their small wine glass at the entrance to the marquee and could then go and meet these ten wine growers and taste their production.
The choice was particularly difficult because these drinks were all of excellent quality and the atmosphere, as usual, very friendly. Each winemaker, as we can guess, offered what he had best. and the choice, for potential buyers, particularly difficult. Fortunately, each winemaker and visitor was able to take their time to find the beverages suited to their tastes and wishes.
A meal was also planned for those who wished to linger longer on the site of the Foyer Jean XXIII.
Many people also participated in the two days organized under the marquee to be sure to choose and obtain the best wines which will accompany their festive meals, but above all to obtain enough so as not to run out before the next year…
Indeed, as this 3rd wine fair was a great success, the Friends of the Foyer Jean XXIII and the Friends of the Gimnée chapel are already thinking about their next meeting, which will take place as usual on the third weekend of April. The date is 2025.
