The 2023 Emmy Awards have been announced. Anthology mini-series Beef and comedy-drama series The Bear also bagged more awards. Succession was nominated for Best Drama Series and The Bear for Comedy Series at the awards. Beef received the award in the Anthology Series category. Sarah Snook won Best Actress and Kieran Kulki Best Actor. Both of them won the award for their performance in the series Succession. Succession has also won the awards for director, screenwriter and supporting actor in the drama category.

In the drama category, Mark Miloud was chosen as the best director, Jesse Armstrong as the screenwriter and Matthew Macfadyen as the supporting actor. Co-starring Jennifer Coolidge (White Lotus).

Ali Wong was nominated for Best Actress in the Anthology Series/Movie category. Steven Yeun was also nominated for Best Actor. Ali and Steven won the award for their performance in Beef. Best screenwriter and director is Lee Sung Jin (Beef). Paul Walter was chosen as the supporting actor in the anthology series. Blackbird won the award for Paul. The supporting actress award went to Niecy Nash Betts (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story).

The Bear leads the awards in the comedy series category. Christopher Storer won the award for directing and writing the series. Jeremy Allen won Best Actor for his performance in Bear and Quinta Brunson won Best Actress for his performance in Abbott Elementary. Ebon Moss Bachrach (The Bear) was nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Ayo Edeberi (The Bear) was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
