Sudanese Foreign Minister hails strong relations between Morocco and Sudan
Marrakech – Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Al-Sadiq praised, on Tuesday in Marrakech, the strength of relations between Morocco and Sudan.
Speaking at a joint press briefing held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita following their talks on the eve of the holding of the 6th edition of the Russia-Arab World Cooperation Forum scheduled for this Wednesday in the ocher city at the level of foreign ministers, the head of Sudanese diplomacy highlighted the interest shown by the two countries in Arab causes and the efforts made to find solutions to the problems facing Sudan.
He said he had informed Mr. Bourita of the situation in Sudan, especially after the attacks by a rebel group against state institutions, expressing the commitment of his country’s government to overcome this situation through dialogue and regional mediations.
The Sudanese minister stressed that he welcomes all Arab efforts aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the war in his country.
