The incident of the bridge collapsing in the river has created a stir.
There is a river called Machu in the Morhi region of Gujarat state. A cable bridge has been constructed in the area to cross this river. Every day thousands of people pass through this bridge. Similarly, this evening too, hundreds of people were walking on the bridge. Suddenly the bridge collapsed. After this many people fell from the bridge into the river.
On being informed about this, the fire department rushed to the spot and rescued the people who were stuck in the river and admitted them to the hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
