Südtirol Bounces Back with Strong 3-1 Victory Against Reggiana

Evidently, the break has done good for Südtirol: after two consecutive defeats, the white-reds delivered a solid performance, winning at the Città del Tricolore stadium by overcoming Reggiana 3-1.
The men of coach Valente started strong: in the 7th minute, captain Tait passed to Molina, the winger unleashed a powerful right shot that gave no chance to goalkeeper Bardi: 1-0.
Reggiana tried to shake things up, with Vergara hitting the crossbar twice on Poluzzi’s goal.
In the 31st minute, the equalizer: from a corner kick, Portanova scored with a volley for the temporary 1-1.
However, Südtirol did not let the blow affect them. Instead, in the 40th minute, Molina assisted Arrigoni, who struck a precise right shot from the edge of the box for the new lead of the guests.
In the second half, a reaction from Reggiana was expected, but Südtirol controlled the game without too many worries. Valente also made the right substitutions: in the 78th minute, the new entries Martini, with a through ball, and Merkaj with an elegant flick, set the stage for Praszelik’s 3-1. Nothing more happened until the final whistle. Südtirol moves up to 9 points, in the upper part of the standings: however, the schedule doesn’t give a break: on Saturday, another tough away match at Marassi against Sampdoria, who lost to Cosenza.
