Wat is calendula?

Calendula is a flower that descends from the marigold family. Calendula is a flower native to northern Mediterranean countries and has been used for medicinal purposes since the twelfth century.

What does it do for your skin?

Calendula has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The flower’s strongest compound is a triterpenoid called faradol that has a significant anti-inflammatory effect. If your skin is prone to infections and impurities, then calendula is your savior.
