In Pakistan’s troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, North Waziristan district today, terrorists have targeted security forces and carried out a suicide attack.
Terrorists rammed a bomb-laden vehicle into a security forces vehicle near Batasi checkpost and then detonated it. 4 soldiers of the security forces were killed in this attack. 7 people including 2 civilians were injured.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack. He also said that serious action will be taken to root out the menace of terrorism. It is noteworthy that even though the Tehreek-Taliban Pakistan organization has called for a ceasefire, it has been targeting security forces in tribal districts.
