IS has continued to challenge the Taliban’s authority, saying that Afghanistan is preparing for another war, in which a suicide bomber kills nearly 200 people, including 13 U.S. soldiers, at the Kabul airport on August 26, the group’s deadliest attack. The Taliban have also said they are beginning to identify IS infiltrators.
