The creative director and co-founder of Rocksteady Studios Sefton Hill has announced that Suicide Squad: Killing the Justice League has been delayed until spring 2023.
Directed by Hill’s PersonalTwitterThe account announced the news, writing: “We have made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League until Spring 2023.
I know the delay is frustrating, but I promise a better experience for everyone, I look forward to bringing the chaos to the world, thank you for your patience. “
Suicide Squad: Killing the Justice League was officially announced in 2020, and since that announcement, its planned release year is 2022, the last time we saw the game was at The Game Awards last year, where it showed a gameplay trailer piece.
While the trailer does show some gameplay, much of it comes from play angles that won’t be used in the final game, and a full gameplay demo hasn’t been shown since it was announced.
Suicide Squad: Killing the Justice League is set in the same universe as Batman: Arkham, but the characters Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark and Captain Boomerang are the playable characters tasked with destroying the Justice League, the game Will be an open-world third-person shooter set in Metropolis.
