Suits cast members reunite on stage at Golden Globes without Meghan Markle

The stars of the popular TV show Suits reunited on stage at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, but one notable star was missing from the stage. Patrick Adams and Gabriel Macht, who played lawyers Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, were joined by fellow stars Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty to present the best TV drama award. However, Meghan Markle, who played Rachel Zane, was absent from the star-studded 81st annual ceremony in Los Angeles alongside her former co-stars.

In an interview with Variety, Torres seemingly revealed the reason behind Markle’s absence, stating, “We don’t have her number. We just don’t so. She’ll see. She’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

The cast members made light of the show’s newfound popularity on Netflix, with Macht joking about the anticipation of waiting to hear their category announced. Adams also joked about waiting for the show to receive recognition, which was presented with the gong for best drama series. Suits originally aired on USA Network for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019 and has gained recent prominence since launching on the streaming giant.

The stars’ appearance came after Suits spent 12 straight weeks as the most-streamed title in the United States, tallying total minutes viewed across all streaming platforms. Between Netflix and Peacock, viewership for Suits hit the 2.359 billion minute mark.

While Markle was absent from the reunion, her former co-stars spoke fondly of their time together on the show. Suits has certainly made a lasting impression on both the audience and the actors themselves.
