what’s in plan: After a two-year hiatus from Corona, the 5th Israel Chocolate Festival returns with children’s shows, huge performances, workshops, competitions and a glimpse into what the major chocolate manufacturers operating in the city – Elit Strauss, Carmit and Epifit – know how to do.

On the opening night, 11.10 at 19:00, Avraham Tal will perform at ‘Nopark’, and those who come will be greeted with chocolate displays and sweet surprises. In the following two days, there will be a host of events throughout the Chocolate Kingdom, about 15 delicious and sweet chocolate workshops for the whole family, 4 huge shows for children: Yuval the Confused, David Chaim, the Sapir Family and Manny Memtra and the children’s shows ‘Ami and Tami’ and ‘Charlie in the Chocolate Kingdom’.

In addition, a chocolatiers’ tent will be set up on the spot, there will be an entertainment with awards on the subject of chocolate and the ‘Israeli chocolate cake’ will be chosen by a team of judges.

When: October 11-13. On 11.10 starting at 19:00 and on October 12-13 between 11:00 and 18:00.

The Rishon LeZion Festival, which is starting its 34th year, will mark the celebration of the city’s 140th anniversary and the preservation of its diverse musical heritage with the participation of over 100 leading artists and creators in a huge variety of original productions and intriguing shows in unique combinations.

Shimon Buskila will celebrate 20 years of creation, Idan Amadi will celebrate ten years of performances, Danny Sanderson will sign 55 years of music, and also: Avraham Tal and Odia, Zehava Ben and Raviv Kinner, Rabivo’s project with the IDF Orchestra and more. Some of the performances are free.

When: October 11-15.

what’s in plan: Since its inception in 2000, the Children’s Sounds Festival has become an integral part of the Sukkot sand event landscape for children and the whole family.

The festival program this year brings a wide variety of arts, from classical music with a large orchestra alongside actors who talk about the effect of music on emotions and memory, original performances that pay tribute to Alon Olarcik and others. Hillel, a tribute to the songs of the children’s festivals of the past, performances with new music and texts that will be played for the first time at the festival, to public singing for the whole family with songs from all eras, workshops and a big event around the theater.

what’s in plan: The 43rd edition of the Acre International Festival for Other Theater will be held as is the best tradition on Hol HaMoed. The festival will include plays and street theater, circus shows, live sculptures, clown shows, art and activities for the whole family. In addition, there will be about 60 theater performances of which over 20 are original plays and innovative and groundbreaking works.

8 premiere shows that will compete for the best show, alongside Hamma shows – premiere shows by promising creators at the beginning of their career. Guest performances include a unique production, with the participation of an ensemble of blind and visually impaired actors, which the audience will experience blindfolded.

During the days of the festival, over 30 outdoor events will take place throughout the city.

When? October 11-14, every evening starting at 5:00 p.m.

where? In the halls of the knights, at the entrance to the old city and throughout the city in the landscape of the city of Acre. During the days of the festival, an outdoor accommodation complex will be built, which will include the option of sleeping in tents and/or sleeping bags for about 100 people, in the eastern wall.

what’s in plan: First collaboration between the Carso Science Park in Be’er Sheva and the Ministry of Agriculture and the Volcanic Institute joining together as part of the 9th Science Festival under the banner “Agriculture of the Future”, to mark the 100th anniversary of the Volcanic Institute and its contribution to research, science, agriculture and settlement.

On the festival island, you will enjoy a display of various varieties of domestic and agricultural crops, a Volcanic Institute display complex, experiential activity and demonstration stations, a colorful happening, a farmers’ market on the museum square, a 3D chocolate printing activity, a hydroponic agriculture complex, a seedling preparation station for children and the whole family, activity and demonstration stations of advanced agricultural technologies, stands with local and domestic agricultural produce, scientific workshops, escape rooms, a scientific show and more. During the days of the festival, home growing enthusiasts are invited to reveal, share and exchange their produce.

what’s in plan: The children’s play festival of the Be’er Sheva Children’s and Youth Theater offers a variety of plays, workshops, street stalls, sessions, a meeting with YouTuber Dylan Dror on boycotts, circus shows, a variety of locations throughout the old city of Be’er Sheva, street performances by artists from Israel and abroad, and more.

This year the festival will be held under the sign “They say enough to the boycott!” And as part of it, the play “This is not my story”, which tells the story of Gali, who went through a boycott and faces a dilemma two years later, will take the stage for the first time in a festive premiere: whether to join the boycott of another child.

The third and last day of the festival will be dedicated this year to children with special needs, during which there will be two shows “Sensitive” and “The Big Bang” specially adapted for this audience. Exclusive at the festival: performances adapted for children with special needs.
