Sulmona, August 22nd free concert I Nomadi

Moments of music and entertainment will characterize Piazza Garibaldi in Sulmona, with concerts (all with free admission) organized by the Nomadi Fans Club “Un giorno insieme” association of Sulmona, with the patronage of the municipality of Sulmona, the Abruzzo Region and with the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia dell’Aquila.

On Wednesday 21 August, at 9:30 pm, there will be a special preview with the concert of Antonello Persico and his tribute to Fabrizio De André, which will also officially open the 2024 edition of the “Un giorno insieme – Augusto Daolio – Città di Sulmona” Award.

Thursday 22nd August, again at 9.30 pm, the long-awaited concert of Nomadi. The leitmotif of the day will be the song “Il paese”, a song with which the band emphasizes their roots and attachment to their native land.
The historic group on the stage in Piazza Garibaldi will celebrate 61 years of career: a musical journey that began when Beppe Carletti and Augusto Daolio formed the band, until it became the longest-running band in Italy.

In these years, Nomadi have presented themselves with 53 published albums, 16,000,000 copies sold and 7,500 concerts, and songs that are part of the history of Italian music such as “Io vagabondo”, “Ho difeso il mio amore”, “Dio è morto”, “Un pugno di sabbia”, “Canzone per un’amica”, “Un giorno insieme”, “Crescerai”, “Gli aironi neri”, “Io voglio vivere” and “Sangue al cuore”, in addition to the songs from the latest album “Cartoline da qui”.
