Muscat: The Sultan of Oman visited Musandam Governorate to see the development activities. The Sultan met with Sheikhs of Musandam Governorate, business leaders and Omani citizens.
The Sultan of Oman, who arrived in Musandam Governorate, was given a warm welcome by the authorities. Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq said that work is underway to give more powers to the governorates as part of the development plan.
The Sultan of Oman requested the Sheikhs and leaders to work well with the Governor and Municipal Council members to achieve comprehensive development in Musandam Governorate.
The Sultan also directed to implement several development projects in Musandam Governorate. The Sultan has instructed to prepare several development plans such as establishing a commercial-residential project in Al Jaradia area, industrial sector in Saih Al Wasat, social housing construction in Madha Wilayat, development of several maritime villages, establishment of prefabricated model factories in Mahas Industrial Area of Khasab Wilayat.
