Sumanthiran MP’s security duty soldier commits suicide

Tamil National Alliance Party MP, M.A. An army soldier has committed suicide near Sumanthiran’s house.

The incident took place on Daya Road in Wellawatta.

An initial police investigation has revealed that the 22-year-old soldier killed himself with the gun he was given on duty.

Police are investigating the incident.
