The closing of the third international Baku Piano Festival was memorable for the fiery concert of Brazilian musicians – Sofia Gracio (vocals), Luciano Vasconcelos da Silva (bass guitar), Isaac Jamba (drums), Day.Az reports.
The Baku Piano Festival is not only the magical performance of virtuosos on the piano and keyboard instruments, it is, above all, a luxurious atmosphere that inspires and enchants the most demanding music lovers, giving bright emotions. The founder and director of the Baku Piano Festival is a laureate of international competitions, jazzman and pianist, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Shahin Novrasli. A bright evening of Brazilian samba, full of drive and energy, charismatic performers lit up the audience from the first notes and kept the rhythm until the last beat of the drumstick. The evening at the summer venue Rotunda Landmark was remembered for its sensual improvisations and the magical atmosphere of the musical festival.
The performance of the Brazilian artists was joined for an encore by the director of the Baku Piano Festival, pianist Shahin Novrasli, who performed several of his jazz compositions with them. The evening ended with a large-scale jam session of the Brazilian artists with the participants of the We are the future project.
