Summer Mercato: see you again on June 10

by time news

A week to breathe and it will already be gone. At least for transfers. The Professional Football League (LFP) communicated this Thursday the two transfer window dates for next season. One week after the end of the current season with the 38th day of Ligue 1 scheduled for Saturday June 3 at 9 p.m., the summer transfer window will start from Saturday June 10. As with last season, the transfer market will be open for 12 weeks until Friday September 1. In 2022, due to the upcoming World Cup, the last day of Ligue 1 took place earlier, on May 22.

Classic formula also for the winter version. The transfer window will therefore run from Monday January 1 to Wednesday January 31, 2024.

The LFP has also announced the date of the Trophée des Champions which launches next season between the French Ligue 1 champion and the winner of the Coupe de France. This match will take place on Saturday August 5 and will be played in Bangkok, Thailand for the first time in history.

It will be the 9th nation to host the Champions Trophy since 2009. The first relocation took place with Canada (Montreal) in 2009 and 2015. Tunisia (Radès) in 2010, Morocco (Tangier) in 2011 and 2017, the United States (Harrison) in 2012, Gabon (Libreville) in 2013, China (Beijing in 2014 and Shenzhen in 2018 and 2019), Austria (Klagenfurt) in 2016 and Israel (Tel-Aviv) in 2021 and 2022 complete the list.
