Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ is all set to write a new record at the box office. It has been 39 days since the release of this horror-comedy and it is still earning better than any other new release. In fact, it earned twice as much on Sunday as Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal’s ‘Yudhra’ which was released last Friday. Not only this, it is giving tough competition to Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’. On the 39th day, it has done twice as much business as compared to ‘Jawaan’. Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ is currently the highest earning Bollywood film in the country. This film, which released in September last year, had a net collection of Rs 640.25 crore. At the pace at which ‘Stree 2’, directed by Amar Kaushik, is still earning, it can break this record and write a new record. This film has grossed Rs 577.65 crore at the domestic box office in 39 days.

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Stree 2’ has done a business of Rs 5.00 crore in the country on its sixth Sunday. Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ earned Rs 2.09 crore on the 39th day. It is also interesting that ‘Jawaan’ was released in Hindi as well as Tamil and Telugu. Whereas this is not the case with ‘Stree 2’.

On the other hand, the condition of ‘Yudhra’, which released on Friday, is not very good. However, considering the budget of 50 crores and star appeal, there were not much expectations from the film. At the box office, all eyes are on ‘Stree 2’. Its success is much bigger than ‘Jawaan’. This is because this film was made on a budget of just Rs 50-60 crores. Whereas till now it has earned 862% more than its budget in the domestic box office. Whereas the budget of ‘Jawaan’ was Rs 370 crores. Obviously, after the weekend, the earnings of ‘Stree 2’ will fall in the weekdays, but it is still in a strong position and will definitely continue to earn more than crores of rupees.

However, even if it beats ‘Jawaan’ in the country, it will be a bit difficult for it to reach the global collection of Rs 1160 crores of Shahrukh’s film.
