Hundreds of students will take the admission exam next Sunday.

Many students will attend an important event this Sunday, September 24: they will take the admission test at the National University of Colombia, to be able to enter an undergraduate degree. The exam can be taken in different Colombian cities. Bogotá, Medellín, Sogamoso, Tunja, Arauca, Florencia, Yopal, Manizales, Quibdó and Montería are some of the points they will go to.
As read on the Unal website, those who are going to take the exam must bring the identity document with which they previously registered. They must also have a number 2 black lead pencil, ink pen, eraser and pencil stylus. They will not be able to use a cell phone or any electronic device during the test. If they use it, it can be canceled.

To give some clues, the National University allows applicants to take an online simulation, for free. The “Interactive Admission Test Demonstration”, as it is called, is a space for students to learn the general characteristics of the exam and become familiar with it.
The idea is that students answer a series of questions grouped into five themes: mathematics, social sciences, natural sciences, analysis of origin and common theme. The total time to answer the questionnaire is 210 minutes, that is, three and a half hours.
After completing the entire questionnaire, the participant will be able to obtain a total score, although, as Unal clarifies, “this is a tool to become familiar with the type of questions and is not part of the admission process, nor of the results you obtain when present proof of entry.” (Read Questions and key points of the draft higher education reform)
