SuperEnalotto lands in Piazza Affari. The regulated gaming society Sisal in fact, it submitted an application for admission to listing on the Electronic Stock Market. A return of the gaming sector to the market after the Apollo fund completed the delisting of Gamenet last February.

The operation involves an offer through a institutional placement of securities offered for sale by the shareholder Schumann Investments, indirectly controlled by Cvc Capital Partners. The placement is aimed exclusively at institutional investors in Italy and abroad. Deutsche Bank, Equita Sim, JP Morgan and UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking are the banks in charge of the placement while Lazard and Latham & Watkins are respectively the financial and legal advisor of the company. Clifford Chance the Legal Advisor of the Joint Global Coordinators, Studio Gattai Minoli Partners as legal advisor for the Corporate Governance aspects while FRM has the role of legal advisor for the tax aspects. The company in charge of the statutory audit of Sisal PricewaterhouseCoopers.


The IPO is part of Sisal’s growth strategy which is based on three pillars: sustainability, digitalization and internationalization. To contain the known risks that gambling addiction can cause, the company has implemented the program on Responsible gaming which reduced deposit limits, conducted research to analyze gambling behaviors and introduced an algorithm to identify players at risk. Always concerning the sustainability, Sisal aims at the progressive elimination of direct and indirect CO2 emissions in the company offices, by 2030. Among the ambitious objectives, particular attention is also paid to the issues of gender quotas. The mission in this field is to obtain the Zero Gender Pay or eliminate the pay gap between men and women by 2030 (at the end of 2020 the pay gap by gender was equal to -12.9%).

Regarding the digitization process (online accounts for 20.8% of the total) investments were made to continue innovating their products in an omnichannel logic, and innovative solutions such as the Tipster platform.
Sisal, which closed the first six months of 2021 with revenues of 263.6 million euros (+ 26.2% compared to 208.9 million at 30 June 2020) and which has 2,400 employees, 29 million retail customers and 1 , 8 million online, 51 thousand points of sale between Italy and abroad, aims for greater internationalization in high-growth markets such as Turkey, Morocco and Spain.
