SuperJob: almost 30% of Russians supported the introduction of QR codes on trains and planes

More than half of Russians (54%) do not see the need to introduce QR codes in air and rail transport, follows from a survey of the SuperJob service. At the same time, 27% of respondents said that QR codes should be entered both on trains and on airplanes, 2% supported such a measure only on airplanes, 1% – only on trains. Another 16% found it difficult to answer.

The survey was conducted on November 10-11. It was attended by 1.6 thousand respondents from 362 settlements in all federal districts of the country.

“Every second Russian does not see the need to introduce a QR code system in air and rail transport. At the same time, if such measures are nevertheless introduced, 8% of unvaccinated people agree to be vaccinated against coronavirus for the sake of traveling by train, and 9% by plane, “the study says (quoted by RIA Novosti).

According to SuperJob, among those vaccinated against coronavirus, 45% of respondents supported the introduction of QR codes in transport. Among those who did not get vaccinated, only 9% supported this measure.

The headquarters for the fight against coronavirus on November 11, announced the development of bills on QR codes in transport, cafes and shops. Aeroflot is ready for their introduction, S7 expects a sharp drop in passenger traffic. The Russian Union of Travel Industry proposed to request QR codes when checking in for a flight, and not when buying air tickets.
