Lhe news had the effect of a bombshell with fans of Superman and Henry Cavill. The British actor announced on his Instagram account the end of his adventures as Superman. The statement was completely unexpected, the actor having assured a few weeks earlier that he would be kept in the franchise, underlines RTL. Henry Cavill had already decided to leave the series The Witcheron Netflix, without specifying the reasons for his departure.
“I have just come out of an interview with James Gunn and Peter Safran and I have bad news. I won’t be back as Superman after all,” wrote Henry Cavill on an Instagram post. “After being authorized by the studio to formalize my return in October, this news is not the easiest to give. But that’s life,” he adds. On October 24, the interpreter of Clark Kent had published a video in which he wore the costume of Superman. He then warned his 23 million subscribers that he would be back and that their patience was going to be “rewarded”.
