‘Superpatata, the Musical’ Set to Premiere in Bilbao This November
Table of Contents
A vibrant theatrical adaptation of the beloved Superpatata comics is coming to the Sala BBK in Bilbao on November 29, promising a family-friendly experience filled with live music, drawing, and a showdown between good and evil. The event, organized by Tracking, will also contribute to a worthy cause, with Fair Saturday donating €1 from each ticket sold to La Cuadri del Hospi.
A New Chapter for the Potato Superhero
“Superpatata, the musical” is designed as a concert experience for audiences of all ages. The production introduces two new antagonists, Coupling and Distortion, eager to climb the ranks of Superpatata’s rogues’ gallery. These aspiring villains reportedly harbor a deep admiration for the nefarious King Zort III – better known as King Slug – and his loyal sidekick, Robotin.
The central question driving the narrative is whether Coupling and Distortion will achieve their villainous ambitions, and if Superpatata will be able to thwart the plans of the extraterrestrial king. According to a production release, attendees will have the opportunity to find out the answers to these questions at the BBK Room on Saturday, November 29th.
Meet the Creator: Artur Laperla Book Signing
Fans will have a chance to meet the creative force behind Superpatata, Artur Laperla, at a special book signing event. Laperla will be at the Joker Bookstore (Euskalduna, 7 in Bilbao) on Friday, November 28th, starting at 6:30 p.m. to sign copies of his comics.
Ticket Information and Charitable Contribution
Tickets for “Superpatata, the musical” are available for advance purchase at a reduced rate of €8 for children under 12 years of age. Tickets will also be available at the box office for €10. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. on November 29th. The partnership with Fair Saturday ensures that a portion of the proceeds will directly benefit La Cuadri del Hospi, a local organization dedicated to supporting hospital patients.
