The Supersalud Service Providers Delegation reports that: Unscrupulous individuals were found who, through misleading advertising, claim to be health service providers, offering to perform medical examinations, treatments and medications, in addition to indicating that they are part of a program of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
There are two companies identified as fake and operating under this modality, “Inmunity” and “Vital Sanar”; neither of them are authorized to provide the services offered and mentioned above, so the general public is invited to refrain from accepting this type of promotions, which are not endorsed or recognized by any government entity in the health sector in Colombia.

Likewise, the entire community is invited to be very careful and to consult with the Health Department of their city, whether these or other companies are authorized as health service providers, before signing any contract, accepting services or making any payment.
In the event of any irregularity, citizens must report these acts to the competent authorities, in order to safeguard the lives of patients in the general health social security system.
The National Health Superintendence will also hold a User Assistance Day in Quibdó (Chocó) on Friday, August 23, to receive complaints about the barriers put in place by the EPS to guarantee health services to the community.
Representatives of all EPSs that have members in the municipality attend the user service sessions. They must fulfil the obligation to manage citizens’ complaints, while Supersalud will act as guarantor.
The dynamics of this session are based on the citizen presenting his/her case directly to the EPS representative, under the supervision of this entity, to ensure that each of the claims has a solution.
