Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s father and veteran actor Krishna passed away. He was 80 years old. He passed away at a private super specialty hospital in the city on Tuesday morning. He was undergoing treatment for a heart attack. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday morning due to a heart attack. Immediately shifted to ventilator. He died at 4 am on Tuesday.
Krishna is also the father-in-law of TDP leader Jai Galla. He joined the Congress in the 1980s and was an MP. After the assassination of Rajiv Gamandhi, he left politics. His wife Indira Devi died in September. Eldest son Ramesh Babu died in January.
