Supplementary pension: the unions sign, but two employers’ organizations are still wondering

The suspense did not last long. Three unions (CFDT, CFTC, FO), representing a majority of private sector employees, announced this Monday their intention to sign the new agreement negotiated on the night of October 4 to 5 on Agirc-Arrco supplementary pensions. At the heart of this text are measures eagerly awaited by private sector retirees. It provides for the revaluation of pensions by 4.9% on November 1 for the 13 million pensioners of the system, but also the end of the “temporary” penalty of 10% from December 1 for new retirees and from April 1 for those who are already experiencing this reduction.
