In the convention center, the inauguration of the supplier and credit, women and entrepreneurs forum was held 2023which during the protocol act highlighted the work that women and young people have in contributing to the local economy.
In his message the owner of the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco)Javier Marroquín Calderón indicated that in the entity on instructions from the governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros has requested that the forum be held year after year with the participation of different social groups in order to generate economic strategies that allow social development.
“With the November 2022 cutoff, we have a total of 82,500 economic units in the state, of those 96 percent are micro-businesses, three percent are small businesses, and the remaining medium-sized businesses.”said Marroquín Calderón.
He took advantage of his speech to point out that Sedeco’s responsibility is to support companies and businesses, as well as expand the statistics to agree on economic plans, programs and projects.
In turn, the owner of the Tlaxcalteca Institute of Youth (ITJ)Lucero Morales Tzompa, indicated that the objective of the forum is to add to the impulse of supply and credit to have better tools that help to break the barriers and limiting beliefs to demonstrate that entrepreneurs contribute to the continuous improvement of the state of Tlaxcala.
“Our governor seeks to attend and generate fields of opportunity and growth, I invite the young people to approach all the State Government agencies, so that they know and take advantage of programs and calls that we have for their businesses.”
Finally, the owner of the State Institute for Women (IEM) Nydia Cano Rodríguez indicated that for the development of women three autonomies are needed: political, physical and economic.
