At the call of the executive office, activists and sympathizers of the Congress for Democracy and Progress party “CDP Mali Kura”, stormed the Bazouma SISSOKO hall of the Amadou Hampathé BA Culture Palace.
This great meeting was an opportunity for the activists to discuss the life of the Party, with a view to providing it with new orientations for its strengthening and a new leadership capable of taking up new challenges.
In his speech, the secretary general of the party, Moussa TEMBELY, congratulated the Government of the Transition for the concrete actions that it is carrying out within the framework of the fight against terrorism and the fight for the restoration of the authority of the State.
The opportunity was good to recall that the Congress for Democracy and Progress (CDP-Mali Kura) party was created in 2014 with the aim of bringing new life to our country through committed actors and a new vision. oriented towards the preservation of common interests.
It emerges from his intervention that the CDP-Mali Kura aims to contribute to popular and universal suffrage in accordance with the values of the Republic, the fundamental principles enshrined in the Constitution, the uniqueness and secularism of the State. .
As such, it aims to achieve in Mali, a truly democratic and developed society where equal opportunities will be ensured to each citizen for their full development.
“Our movement has set itself the following objectives: to reconcile Malians with politics and create a party culture among citizens by placing the collective and national interest at the heart of the issues; motivate its activists through training, civic education, information and awareness-raising actions; strengthen and renew political leadership on objective bases; build a strong and impartial state, capable of protecting people and property throughout the national territory,” he said.
It is also, according to him, to work for the consolidation of national unity and safeguard the territorial integrity of the country; preserve the cultural, religious and ethnic diversity of the Republic; fight against corruption in all its forms, laxity in economic and financial management, but also against impunity.
From his analysis, it emerges that the problem of the success of the transition is an imperative for the change so desired by the Malians.
For him, our country is now more than ever in the sights of global players, and we are therefore condemned to succeed; to succeed for us and for future generations.
“We are at a decisive turning point in the life of our Nation, so to meet the countless challenges, Malians must unite around a common ideal, that of a successful transition for a new beginning marked by political reforms. , serious constitutional and institutional measures taking into account the aspirations of all Malians,” he called.
“Malians, Malians, history is watching us, let’s join hands and move forward side by side to succeed in the fight for freedom and development,” he advised.
For her part, the president of the Women’s Movement, Ms. Mariétou DEMBELE, paid tribute to the leadership of the young president of the party who, she said, spares no effort for the cause of women.
“We, the women of the CDP Mali Kura party, support the party’s initiative to support the authorities of the transition to carry out the reforms,” she assured.
In her opinion, women are essential in rebuilding a country. To illustrate her point, she adopted the adage that says: “Behind every hero is a brave woman”.
According to her, women who represent more than 50% of the Malian population intend to play their role in the success of the transition and in accordance with the will of the party.
To this end, she assured of the commitment of her sisters to take up the challenge of mobilizing around the authorities.
“We appeal to all women in Mali to join us in supporting President Colonel Assimi Goita in his fight against terrorism, colonization and the high cost of living,” she concluded.
The same appeal was launched to the attention of the young people of Mali by the president of the Youth Movement of the party, Amadou SISSOKO.
At the start of his remarks, Bavieux COULIBALY observed a minute of silence in memory of all the civilian and military victims of the crisis that the country is going through.
He said measured with honor all the weight of confidence placed in him by officials, activists and sympathizers of the party.
“An honour, yes, because the men and women who imagined, wished for and supported Mali Kura have chosen my modest person and I solemnly undertake to assume this responsibility with commitment, honor and integrity”, said he declared.
For him, it is because aware of the stakes that the CDP Mali Kura Party must properly play its role as leader and actor of Mali Kura.
According to him, since April 24, 2014 the CDP Mali Kura was created with the term Mali Kura, a fashionable term currently.
“We didn’t wait to start cultivating the Mali Kura in the minds of Malians. We didn’t wait to understand the excesses that existed at the time; we did not wait to denounce unpatriotic behavior; we did not wait to demand better management of state affairs,” he said.
The CDP Mali Kura party, according to its president, understood that change was needed.
“We made our remarkable contribution to this change which resulted in everyone demanding Mali Kura; live the Mali Kura today”, he rejoiced.
This is why, he says, we are fighting and supporting the authorities of the Transition to achieve the objectives set for a developed Mali, a Mali in peace, a Mali in security.
