Dubai: UAE supports International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank meeting to be hosted by Qatar in 2026. Regarding this, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke to Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the phone.
The two countries discussed strengthening their relations and areas of cooperation. Similar challenges faced by both countries were also discussed. Both the leaders wished for the prosperity of both the countries.
UAE has also submitted an application for IMF and World Bank meeting. However, Qatar got the hosting after the UAE withdrew its application.
