Support for Ukrainian culture – from Japan: a gift to the archive in Lviv “precious as gold”

The oldest State Historical Archive in Ukraine was established in Lviv at the end of the 18th century. During the war, it became difficult to restore the old documents because of the lack of suitable paper. Help has come from Japan’s Tokushima Prefecture, which is donating traditional Japanese paper to preserve ancient Ukrainian written sources.
