The planting entitled “Pupuk Indonesia Green Harmony” was symbolically carried out simultaneously and hybridly, Sunday (29/4/2024) afternoon.

From Jakarta, Pupuk Indonesia planted 1,000 trees consisting of various types of plants.

President Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi and General Chairperson of the Pupuk Indonesia Employee Wives Association (PIKA-PI) Group, Tata Rahmad Pribadi together with staff at a ceremonial event planted avocado, matoa, kepel, menteng and buni tree seedlings.

Rahmad said that the Government is trying to reduce CO2 gas emissions to maintain the sustainability of the earth through a number of programs.

One of them is giving instructions to companies as a form of commitment to support the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) program and Indonesia Net Zero Emission 2060.

“Pupuk Indonesia is committed to contributing to reducing emissions and decarbonization, through the Pupuk Indonesia Green Harmony program,” said Rahmad.

He added that this program aims to provide social, economic and environmental impacts whose benefits can be felt directly by communities around the operational areas of Pupuk Indonesia Group.

The Pupuk Indonesia Green Harmony program was initiated by Pupuk Indonesia to reduce CO2 emissions, by planting various types of seeds.
